Fish Roast

This is an fast and easy, but tasty recipe. Kids will like it as it is less spicy and colorful...Whenever I am feeling lazy to cook, this will come to my rescue...

Ingredients:-

For Fish fry:
Fish - cut into medium size pieces - 12
      Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
      Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
      Salt - as reqd

Marinate the fish pieces with the above spices and keep in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

For Masala:
     Onion - 3 (sliced)
Green Chilly - 2 (cut lengthwise)
     Tomato - 1 big (chopped)
     Chilly Powder - 1 tsp
     Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
     Curry Leaf - as reqd
     Salt - as reqd

Method:-

Heat oil in a pan and fry the marinated fish pieces as we do in normal fish fry and keep aside.

In the same pan, add some more oil if required and saute the sliced onion, green chilly and curry leaf. When the onion turns light brown, add the chilly and turmeric powder and fry it till the raw smell goes. Add the tomato pieces and fry it till the tomato pieces are cooked. Add the fried fish pieces into this masala. Mix the fish pieces very carefully otherwise the fish will break. Keep for another 1 or 2 minutes in  the fire.
Serve with rice, dosa, chappathi etc etc....
